All the way from Argentina, this handmade imperial-style mate gourd comes with a twist! Smooth black leather fully encases a thick-walled calabash, crowned with an engraved metal strap and beautifully chiseled rim. But instead of leather feet, it’s upheld by a separate hand-sewn leather base, exposing the meticulous stitching done on its underside. Medium-to-large capacity.
It’s recommended you cure your gourd before use. (The size and shape of each gourd, and rim design varies from the pictures shown as no two gourds are the same – some are larger, some are smaller. Being handmade, some light marks and blemishes may also appear on the mate.)
