About Us

Yerba Mate Lab started back in January 2017 – a month after I had my first sip of yerba mate. Since then, I knew I had to spread the word.

It has always been a goal of mine to make yerba mate more known across the world. Now, after reviewing 80+ yerba mate brands (the most in the world!) and posting hundreds of educational videos, we’ve gained close to a million followers combined across our social networks (Titkok, Youtube, and Instagram). And have also been able to create a nice little community of 1,100+ members on our Discord. As well as a store with our own premium line of mate gourds, bombillas, and yerba mate imported directly from South America.

Coming from someone who’s not from a native mate-drinking country, I know there’s a lot to learn and experience so please take your time and enjoy. We have a video on just about everything you need to know, and do our best to make getting into mate as easy as possible.
