Carefully handcrafted in Argentina, each sip not only lets you feel the premium construction put into each gourd, but also allows you to admire the work of art put into each rim as the engravings dance in the light. It’s recommended you cure your gourd before use. (The size, shape, rim design, and depth of the leather pattern varies from the pictures shown as no two gourds are the same and are all handmade – some are larger, some are smaller.)

Care / Maintenance
Mate Gourds
Before your first use, it's best to cure your mate gourd to remove debris and reduce bitter tannins.
- Fill with hot water (170°F / 77 °C) and steep for 20 minutes.
- Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Rest gourd on its side in a well-ventilated spot (a fan works best).
Bombillas
New bombillas should be cleaned to remove potential manufacturing residue.
- Boil in water with 1 tbsp baking soda for 10–15 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and let it dry.
Yerba Mate
Keep yerba mate in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. For green yerba, store in the fridge/freezer to preserve freshness and prevent degradation
