Get the best of both worlds - the look of a traditional camionero mate gourd, with an easy-to-clean stainless steel interior! Handcrafted in Argentina, a smooth black leather encapsulates the steel cup and is sealed off with a metal rim. One of our favorites to use as a daily mate.
NOTE: Because these are handmade, it is recommended to wash the inside with warm water and soap to clean out any residue from the production process. Also, as these are crafted by attaching to a lathe, surface-level scratches may also appear inside the gourd at the bottom.
Capacity: small-medium size
Dimensions: 4.0 x 5.0 inches

FAQs
FAQs
Do Stainless Steel Mates Have To Be Cured?
No. Only natural materials such as calabash, wood, and horn need to be cured. These can be used right away, though a quick rinse is always recommended.
Are Stainless Steel Gourds Better For Beginners?
Absolutely! Stainless steel mates don't have to be cured, are easy to clean, highly resistant to mold, and you don't have to wait for them to dry. Plus, they're perfect for all types of yerbas, flavored or traditional, and cold or hot!
How To Clean Stainless Steel Cups
Stainless steel mates can be treated like any cup and be washed by rinsing thoroughly under warm water. Soap can be used but is not mandatory. Pat dry with a paper towel. If the mate has leather, avoid wetting the exterior.

Great piece all around. Feels and reads like a classic Mate gourd but with the ease of stainless steel as it relates to cleaning and maintenance. Really happy!
I like the Camionero Maye Gourd. It’s bigger than I thought. I would recommend getter the black one because it’s deeper
Perfectly good starter gourd for new mate drinkers like me
