Frequently Bought Together
Enjoy a smoother mate experience with this stainless steel spoon bombilla made in Argentina.
Designed with a classic spoon filter and a bent bronze-colored mouthpiece, it combines everyday function with a more refined, traditional look. The spoon filter strains yerba effectively while allowing for a steady sip, making this bombilla a practical choice for both beginners and experienced mate drinkers.
This bombilla is built for those who want a more authentic setup without overcomplicating their routine. The stainless steel body offers durability for daily use, while the spoon shape works well with many styles of yerba mate.
Whether you're upgrading your current setup or putting together your first yerba mate kit, this stainless steel spoon bombilla is a dependable choice that balances style, comfort, and function.
Pair it with a mate gourd with bronze accents to match such as our CALIZ Imperial or CERRO Torpedo.
Dimensions: 7 in. (length may slightly vary)

FAQs
FAQs
What's The Best Type Of Bombilla?
At Yerba Mate Lab, we only stock spoon bombillas after years of testing different kinds. Why? They offer the best filtration for all types of yerbas, and blow other types (coil, spring, slits) out of the water.
For the best filtration, look for bigger filter heads and ones with more holes, such as our 1000-hole bombas.
How To Clean Bombillas
Bombillas should be cleaned after every use with a thorough rinse under warm water. If made of stainless steel, soap can be used but is not mandatory and should be avoided with other materials.
Every 1-2 months, a deep clean should be done by boiling the bombillas in a pot with a tablespoon of baking soda for about 10 minutes.
Why Is My Bombilla Clogged?
A clogged bombilla can happen for several reasons with the main one being the preparation.
Some important things to note that affect clogging most are:
- allowing the yerba to soak for 3-5 minutes on the initial pour
- positioning the filter correctly at the bottom, under the mountain
If still experiencing clogging, we suggest pulling the bombilla up slightly (out of the water) and seeing if it clears.
